Things are in full swing to be ready in time for the 13th Season at Penny’s Country Farm! The month of August is always a little hectic for the Minnoe Family as they prepare for the upcoming days of Fall Family Fun! The farm is a passion for Tom and Penny, and it shows in the full lineup of offerings that are presented through their activities each year.
Food from our very own Chuck Wagon is also available every weekend – Friday through Sunday – for our visitors as well as for our local community! Stop by and enjoy lunch with a piece of Penny’s wonderful Pumpkin Pie.
See What’s Happening for the 13th Season at Penny’s Country Farm!
Penny’s Country Farm opens this year on Friday, September 13, 2019 with hours from 10am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays through October 27. Friday hours are 12pm to 8pm. The Farm will also be open on Columbus Day – Monday, October 14 from 10am to 5pm. Admission is $8 per adult/$5 per child (children under 2 years old are free).
Stay and Play Activity Bands include access to a full assortment of activities, with something for everyone from toddlers to grandparents! Activities include:
- Adult 5 plus-acre Corn Maze Challenge
- Children’s Corn Maze
- Spook Woods
- Children’s Ghost Train
- Wagon Rides (Handicap Accessible)
- Billy Goat Mountain and Live Animals
- Tombstone (our very own western town) with live entertainment
- Fun Zone Playground featuring Pirates Cove, Monster Truck Gym and Bounce House
- Face Painting
- Punkin Chunkin Air Cannon
- Live Entertainment (skits, music and more!)
- Pick Your Own Pumpkins (starting at $3 per pumpkin)
- Penny’s Farmers’ Market with a selection of seasonal fall gourds and natural decorations
- Introduction to Sparkles, our very own Unicorn!
Visitors can come in costume according to our special weekend themes (to be announced soon) and receive $1 off admission.
Groups (schools and other) can be scheduled at a special rate for dates in season Mondays through Thursdays, based on availability and the site can also be rented for special events such as retreats, family gatherings, business functions, weddings and more.
