Admission to Penny’s Country Farm provides each guest access to different activities within the farm, allowing you to pick events and activity options that suit your needs. While the star of the show is the world famous pick your own pumpkin patch, Penny’s Country Farm works hard to ensure no visitor is left out of the fun. From wagon rides, a child-sized corn maze, and a chance to meet all the animals that live on the farm, children will have plenty of activities to enjoy. Penny’s also has a special area for children to play: a playground complete with slides, a wooden monster truck, and two wooden pirate ships for children to explore and let their imagination run wild.
For the adult visitors, Penny’s Country Farm offers a more difficult corn maze that spans several acres and live entertainment for the entire family like pumpkin’ chunkin, where pumpkins are launched through an air cannon. You can watch the show from the hayride (now accessible for wheelchairs) and from many of the stops along the way, so you’re guaranteed a view. Stop and tour the town of Tombstone,which features a saloon, general store, sheriff office, a church and a newly added blacksmith shop all designed to make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the 1800’s wild west. That’s right, Penny’s Country Farm has built an entire town within the farm for families to enjoy. Live shows are held in the saloon, so be sure to check showtimes when you visit so you can settle in for a great time while enjoying a cold sarsaparilla. You won’t want to miss the incredible and fun live action performances that bring the town to life.
All this fun is sure to lead to some pretty big appetites, but don’t worry, there’s a great little spot right at the farm called The Chuck Wagon. With both interior seating and a picnic area, there’s plenty of spots for your family to enjoy home-cooked meals when hunger strikes during your visit. Dining staff can help those with allergy concerns. Lastly, don’t forget to stop by the farmer’s market to select an assortment of seasonal fall vegetables handpicked from the farm for visitors to purchase.
