Howdy y’all!! Fall will soon be here and it sure is time for a pumpkin patch update! While we all enjoy the summer soaking up the rays or picking up extra shifts at work, our pumpkin plants are doing the same. Soaking up the sun ☀️ and working extra hard to be fall ready!
What’s happening now?
In the past couple of weeks our plants have grown blossoms. They have opened and our bees are hard at work pollinating. This is nature at its best. It’s beautiful! You know what else, we already have small green pumpkins. They have arrived! Over the next month Farmer Tom will keep an eye on his produce. He’ll be watching them grow in weight and size and he’ll be watching the color change as well.
As you can see it’s an exciting and busy time at the farm, as we all prepare for the fall. Whose excited for apple cider doughnuts, cozy sweaters and of course pumpkin picking at Penny’s?! We are and we are so excited to see you all again for another amazing fall season! 🎃
Just a friendly reminder, Penny’s will be open August 12th from 9am-5pm for a garage sale.
